The great à la carte restuarant at Apelviken is virtually a cultural institution in Varberg. Ever since the 1930s, Solviken has served locals, summer guests and visitors.

And since then, the focus has been equally on reception, pleasant company and delicious food. Solviken offers pizza and à la carte. Mixes the tastiest drinks, and presents you with a marvellous view of the Kattegat.

Nisse's Bodega is the bay's coolest spot and Varberg's most affordable breakfast. Right by the poolside. Uncomplicated, casual, and lively. The place for a cold beer in swim trunks, crispy fish'n chips, and a delicious croissant waffle, on the way to the town's entertainment and, of course, a favorite among the kids.

THE APELVIKEN SUPERMARKET

At Destination Apelviken, there is of course a large, well-assorted supermarket. It’s really called Handlar'n Apelviken, but most of our guests probably just call it “the shop” for short. Our “shop” has most of the things you might need for a holiday or a day at the beach
